Murder Mysteries at The Swenson House

We offer fully interactive Murder Mysteries at the Swenson House as one of our fundraising opportunities. Often, dinner is included. Previous mysteries include Death at the Speakeasy, and our Christmas-themed mystery, Home for the Holidays. This spring, we are offering a Wild West-themed mystery with dinner, Murder at the Ruby Rock Inn. See below for dates, info, and links to purchase tickets. This event has been rescheduled for May 9th and 10th, 2025 due to illness. It's 1885, and Abilene is still the Wild West! Join us for our Spring Murder Mystery Dinner as the Swenson House is transformed into the Ruby Rock Inn, featuring an in-house saloon, complete with dinner and a side of murder. Will you be the big winner at the poker table? Will you live long enough to enjoy your winnings - or dessert?

35 Tickets MAX will be sold each night - 24 Characters and 11 NPC - Non-Playing Characters. NPC's still interact and participate in solving the mystery. All attendees will enjoy dinner, homemade desserts, ice tea, and root beer. Wine and Beer Drink Tickets are available for ages 21+ - 2/$10.00. To ensure a safe but fun evening, adults are limited to 2 drinks each.

Both Characters and NPC's will try to solve the murders and determine the correct motive. Awards will be given for: Closest Guess, Best Actor, Best Actress, and because several murders will take place, Best Death Scene!
